Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• The proposed method decomposes a power system into subsystems and uses Kron reduction to project the original system into each subsystem via mapping the external variables from other subsystems to the local variables of each subsystem. • The proposed decomposition facilitates more useful information exchange, scalable optimization, and computational speed while satisfying global constraints and limiting data sharing. • The numerical results show that the proposed method significantly outperforms the typical phase-angle formulation using 44 test cases from PGlib-OPF.
