• High purity and active soluble full-length Brucella BP26 protein was obtained • A monoclonal antibody (MAb) was screened, whose reaction with Brucella BP26 protein can enhance the sensitivity and specificity of iELISA. • The combination of the developed iELISA and commercial cELISA can clean-up B. melitensis.
