Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) is now standard of care for insulin-treated people with diabetes (PwD) and expanding to broader patient groups. Barriers to CGM-related training and awareness among healthcare professionals (HCPs) in different roles should be removed to allow broader access to CGM. We developed a role-based competency framework that stratifies CGM-related knowledge and skills for HCPs interacting with PwD who use CGM.
