A Rothe-Chebyshev collocation algorithm for the hyperbolic telegraphic type equations with variable coefficients

我们构造了一种半离散化的谱方法,用于求解带有Dirichlet或Neumann边界条件的二阶电报型方程。首先采用Rothe的逐次方法进行时间离散化处理,将模型方程转化为一个边值问题系统。随后,利用移位修正Chebyshev多项式(SMCPs)的谱矩阵方法对空间变量进行离散。由混合Rothe-SMCPs算法得到的离散解序列被证明以O(Δτ+R^−3)的阶数一致收敛于连续解。在此背景下,Δτ表示时间步长,而R表示在近似过程中所使用的SMCPs数量。进行了仿真实验以突出数值结果与理论预测之间的高度一致性。使用较大时间步长的数值结果比现有研究工作中的计算值具有更高的精度。
