Abstract
En 中文
• Sulfur-based porous alkaline carriers (SPAC) were constructed. • The bioreactor with SPAC achieved greater denitrification performance than that with commercial carriers. • High abundance of SDB was enriched in the inner layer of SPAC. • The primary active zones of sulfur disproportionation and denitrification were different. • The harmonious syntrophic interactions between SDB and SOB in the SPAC enhanced nitrogen removal.
