• Utilizing electrochemical activation technology to regulate the high-entropy sulfides. • Both structural reconstruction and phase transition were achieved in the product. • Beef tripe-like morphology was feasible for enhanced stability and active sites. • The optimized product exhibited a specific capacitance up to 9.20 F cm−2. • The assembled aqueous and solid-state supercapacitor exhibited superior performance.
