摘要

En 中文
Ada Lovelace was a pioneering mathematician who made some of the very first advances in the subject of computer science. She was born in 1815 in London, the only legitimate daughter of the poet Lord Byron (who led a rather dissolute life and was described by one of his lovers as mad, bad, and dangerous to know). Byron is now regarded as one of the greatest of English poets; he died at Missolonghi in Greece in 1824, fighting for the cause of Greek independence from the Ottoman Empire.
