• An integrated operational modeling system (GAm-CHFS) is developed to forecast coastal hazards across the land–river–ocean continuum at multiple scales. • Flexible coupling strategies, including one-way river–ocean and dynamically two-way hydrology–ocean coupling, enable improved prediction of compound flooding and coastal water quality. • The system provides a foundation for AI-enhanced and ensemble-based forecasting, enabling rapid, scalable, and next-generation coastal hazard prediction.
