• Fe-doped Mn5Ge3 single crystals were successfully grown by the flux method. • Temperature-driven MR sign reversal was observed around 150 K in Mn5Ge3. • Angle-dependent MR reversal was found at θ ≈ 60° under low temperatures. • Competing scattering mechanisms dominate the dual-modulated MR behavior. • This work provides new insights into tunable MR in Mn-based ferromagnets.
