Abstract

• Eu3+-doped Y/La3Sc2Ga3O12 phosphors, high-symmetry coordination induces abnormal 5D0→7F4 transition. • Optimal LSGO:0.25Eu3+ has 98.48% IQE, good thermal stability, 590/706 nm dominant emissions under 393 nm NUV excitation. • Three optical devices developed, enabling its applications in biomedicine, agricultural and solid-state lighting.
