• A broad-spectrum light-responsive ternary DES is tailor-made for pretreatment. • Ambient-light-driven biorefinery reconciles structure integrity-efficiency trade-off. • 91.6% lipid extraction and 80.4% protein recovery in native conformation are achieved. • Physical reconfiguration and photochemistry concert for microalgal disintegration. • Sustainable full-component utilization with stable solvent recycling is realized.
