• Anti-shrinkage PBAT foam was successfully prepared. • PLA and CE were added into the synergistically modified PBAT. • The effects of foaming temperature and saturation pressure on foaming behavior were studied. • The prepared foam is based on low shrinkage, smaller cell size and higher cell density, superior to existing research. • Double-layer foam materials with excellent properties were prepared by bionic inspiration.
