• A rigid sandwich-like β-CD-TBAT was designed and constructed. • β-CD-TBAT exhibited exceptional catalytic oxidation performance toward cyclohexene. • β-CD-TBAT demonstrated superior phase transfer mass transfer performance. • β-CD-TBAT reaction system exhibited high fluidity and negligible foamability. • β-CD-TBAT showed excellent reusability and stability in five consecutive cycles.
