Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• More than 30% arboreal pollen from the mountainous area or more than 15% Selaginella sinensis, and coarse grains content of the flood deposits in the North China Plain can be used as evidence for the occurrence of floods. • The sedimentary characteristics exhibit a decrease in thickness, grain size and pollen concentration from upstream to downstream, which corresponds well to a weakening of hydrodynamic energy. • Flood flow deposition and flood recession deposition exhibit differences in lithology, grain size, pollen concentration and magnetic susceptibility.
