Abstract
En 中文
• MRI is as reliable as CBCT for periodontal lesion (PL) detection and volume measure. • MRI detected nearly all PLs identified by CBCT (T1W/ T1WC+: 98.3%/ 98.5%). • Volumetric bone loss is comparable in T1W but substantially overestimated in T1WC+. • MRI identified over 20% more PLs compared to CBCT. • Additional MRI PLs were smaller than CBCT PLs, suggesting early-stage disease.
