This article proposes an improved differential evolution multiobjective particle swarm optimization algorithm (DEV-MOPSO) for the design of dual-band power amplifiers (PAs). This algorithm enhances the global search capability during optimization by incorporating the concept of differential evolution. In addition, a hierarchical optimization strategy is used to optimize the multiobjective frequency bands of dual-band PAs according to their optimization priorities, achieving a multiband and efficient collaborative design. Measurement results demonstrate that the designed PA achieves a drain efficiency (DE) greater than 67%, an output power exceeding 40.2 dBm, and a gain higher than 10.2 dB within the dual frequency bands of 2.3–2.5 and 3.2–3.4 GHz. Meanwhile, the circuit transmission in the stopband is suppressed.
