Dear members of the DEIS community, As I begin my second year as president of the IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society, I do so with a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm. Leading DEIS over the past year has been both a privilege and a deeply rewarding experience—an experience made possible by the passion and collaboration of individuals who believe, as I do, in the enduring relevance and potential of our field.
