Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• LCF and ELCF behavior of TMCP steels was evaluated using cylindrical specimens. • Parallel length effects were quantified over strain amplitudes from 0.5% to 15%. • Short specimens (Le/D = 1.18) showed higher peak stress and longer fatigue life. • Specimen geometry effects were negligible for Le/D ≥ 1.76 under LCF conditions • Results suggest current geometric standards for LCF testing may be conservative.
