Abstract

• Low-dose intraoperative esketamine (<1 mg/kg) reduces acute postoperative pain. • Significant opioid-sparing effect observed up to 48 h post-surgery. • Decreases rescue analgesic use and intraoperative propofol consumption. • No increase in adverse events compared to control. • Supports esketamine as a safe adjunct for multimodal anesthesia.
