• Spin-polarized electron transport strategy is proposed to enhance PDT efficiency. • Lattice reconfigured ZFO NPs exhibit narrow bandgap and negative magnetoresistance. • EMF aligns electron spins to suppress electron, hole, and lattice collisions. • Spin alignment supplies abundant energetic electrons for ROS enhancement. • FAZFO@Au NPs show enhanced melanoma inhibition under combined EMF and NIR.
