The MANET is a type of wireless network that self-organizes and connects itself. In MANET, every device can freely migrate from one point to another in any direction. They can connect their smart devices to build a network and send data to another device. In cloud-assisted mobile ad hoc networks, device-to-device (D2D) communication has boosted the number of users and data transmission rate among mobile nodes in 5G networks (CA-MANETs). However, because of their mobility, link failure, routing overhead, and low battery capacity, these mobile nodes must constantly renew their connections with their peer nodes. During this time, it expends a lot of energy hunting for and connecting the mobile nodes. Therefore, this research work proposes an Energy Based Data Routing Protocol for Clouded MANET in an effort to lower the energy usage. This novel Energy-based data routing system chooses a path for data transmission throughout the network while taking into account the nodes' signal strength and remaining energy. It increases the lifetime of Network by reducing the number of link failures along the distribution of traffic load. The simulation shows better performance in terms of Packet delivery ratio, Throughput and Average End to end delay.
