Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Mine microbes speed up Sb tailings oxidation, dissolution, and acidic compound formation. • Sulfur- and iron-oxidizing bacteria drove Sb tailing dissolution and Sb-sulfur cycling. • Microbes oxidized toxic Sb(III) to Sb(V), raised sulfate levels, and caused acidification. • Spectroscopy confirmed stepwise Sb₂S₃ oxidation to Sb₂O₃ and Sb₂O₅.
