Abstract

• An experimental setup for the CFPFHE is developed. • Numerical model of CFPFHE is validated, with an error of 1.27%. • Temperature rise (80 ∼ 120 K) decreases φpH2,out and φeqpH2,out by 21.49% and 22.15%. • Increasing Reh reduces φpH2,out by 19.30% and ξpH2 by 50.90%, φeqpH2,out stayed 0.39. • Low flow rates cause concentrated inlet temperature rise, enhancing ortho-para conversion.
