Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• CoCrNiCu0.5 exhibits Cu-rich (FCC1) and Cu-lean (FCC2) phases. • Isothermal oxidation at 800˚C results in formation of CuO and Cr2O3 oxides. • Internal oxidation of Cr2O3 along Cu-depleted regions of FCC1 phase was observed. • DFT analysis shows strongest O binding in three-fold sites with maximum Cr atoms. • AIMD shows the outward diffusion of Cr atoms in both the phases.
