The synchronization of multi-layer networks can greatly improve production and life efficiency, thus having important research significance. In this article, the finite-time pinning synchronization control strategy is investigated for multi-layer networks. A new finite-time pinning controller, which not only considers the intra-layer coupling connection, but also the inter-layer coupling connection, is designed. The pinning synchronization criteria for the multi-layer networks is established based on the finite-time control protocols. Additionally, the corresponding convergence analysis are also provided. Finally, the effectiveness of the obtained theoretical results is illustrated using three comparison methods in a two-layer network.
