I am thrilled and honored to be the incoming Editor-in-Chief (EiC) of the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Magazine (MAES). I would like to thank the Board of Governors of the IEEE Aerospace and Electronics Systems Society (AESS) for entrusting me with this important role. I am truly excited about the opportunity to lead our esteemed publication and contribute to its continued success. I would also like to extend my appreciation to the outgoing EiC, Dr. Daniel W. O'Hagan of Fraunhofer FHR, Germany, for his leadership throughout this period. His guidance has been invaluable as I transition into this position.
