Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• The growth, physiological, and yield responses of seven yam landraces to drought stress were evaluated. • The study screened drought-tolerant yam landraces based on growth, physiological, yield, and drought tolerance indices parameters. • The study found significant differences (p < 0.05) in yam landraces and treatments under drought stresses. • Yam landraces; Aha, Ayno, Duurundufa, and Qekila are identified as drought-tolerant. • Drought-tolerant yam landraces can be used for climate-resilient agriculture in drought-prone regions.
