Abstract
En 中文
• A novel sub-critical heat-rejection process using mixed-flow heat transfer for sCO2 cycles is proposed for sCO2 cycles. • Direct-contact cooling between CO2 and water transforms heat rejection into near-isothermal. • Replacing supercritical compression with liquid-phase pumping reduces work and improves efficiency. • The cycle increases thermal efficiency from 47.59% to 49.86% and reduces mass flow by 15.62% for the same power output.
