Abstract

• TFe-SNC catalysts are fabricated by pyrolysis combined with trithiocyanuric acid modification strategy. • High mesopore ratio and specific surface area accelerates electron transport and improves single-atom Fe sites exposure. • Sulfur doping regulates the electronic configuration of Fe active centers and increases the number of active sites. • The catalyst exhibits excellent ORR catalytic activity in both acidic and alkaline media.
