High-performance self-powered ion-electronic sensors via highly entangled polymer networks

• A highly entangled polymer network is developed to suppress viscoelastic dissipation and interfacial friction. • The gel exhibits ultralow hysteresis of ∼1.7% at 30% compressive strain. • The self-powered sensor achieves an expanded detection frequency up to 800 Hz. • High-precision acoustic detection and 99.12% accuracy for speech recognition are realized. • The entanglement strategy provides a universal design for high-frequency self-powered ion-electronic sensors.
