We establish sharp local \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$C<^>{1,\alpha }-$$\end{document}regularity for weak solutions to degenerate elliptic equations of \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$p-$$\end{document}Laplacian type with data in Morrey spaces. The proof relies on the Fefferman-Phong inequality and standard tools from regularity theory for nonlinear PDEs.
