Children supported by extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) frequently receive platelet transfusions. However, little is known about how characteristics of platelet products affect transfusion effectiveness in ECMO patients. Our objective was to evaluate whether platelet product characteristics were associated with platelet count increment.
