Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Impacts of pile-driving noise on the thick-shell mussel were assessed in this study. • Exposed mussels had a markedly higher mortality upon pathogenic bacterial challenge. • Both cellular and humoral immunity of the mussel were shown to be notably impaired. • GABA, DA, ACh, and 5-HT declined and correlated with humoral immune parameters. • Expression of neurotransmitter- and immune-related genes was significantly altered.
