Abstract
En 中文
• A novel (Nb,Mo)C composite carbide was in-situ synthesized in Ni-based coatings using Mo₂C as a non-graphite carbon source. • Coating microstructure was strategically tailored from columnar to equiaxed grains with increasing (Nb+Mo₂C) content. • The 20% (Nb+Mo₂C) coating achieved a combination of high hardness, excellent wear resistance, and superior corrosion resistance. • Corrosion resistance stems from a dense, multi-oxide (Cr₂O₃/Nb₂O₅/MoO₃) passive film with minimal defect density.
