• Incidence of new pain diagnoses after cesarean delivery is not well elucidated. • Retrospective cohort study conducted using Premier Healthcare database including cesarean delivery from 2016 to 2020. • Amongst patients who had cesarean delivery, 2.3% had new pain diagnoses after cesarean delivery.
