• Reliable brazing of B₄C‑TiB₂ ceramic and TA15 alloy is achieved using AgCu filler; the typical interfacial sequence of the joint is identified. • The shear strength of brazed joints increased first and then declined with rising brazing temperature, peaking at 67.58 MPa (880 °C, 10 min). • Elevated temperature accelerates elemental interdiffusion, thickens brittle reaction layers; all fractures locate at ceramic‑braze interface. • Four‑stage interfacial evolution is clarified; insufficient or excessive interfacial reaction degrades mechanical performance.
