Abstract
En 中文
• ADHD-like hyperactivity-impulsivity involves all 3 forebrain monoaminergic systems. • Changes in forebrain monoaminergic systems markedly correlate with ADHD-like behavior. • The correlation is observed after delayed reward, a behavioral hallmark of human ADHD. • Affected regions: right and left prefrontal cortex, right posterior caudate-putamen. • The effect in each lateralized region involves a different monoaminergic system.
