Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
Euclidean distance optimized antenna selection (EDAS) has been integrated with offset spatial modulation (OSM) for alleviating the effects of channel fading and increasing diversity gain, but the complexity of EDAS may become excessive upon increasing transmit antennas, particularly for the large-scale multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. In pursuit of low complexity, we conceive a novel transmit antenna selection (TAS) scheme for OSM, where the challenge of exhaustively searching all possible antenna subsets is tackled with the aid of a specific single tree search. Simulation results demonstrate the advantage of the proposed scheme in terms of significant search complexity reduction while achieving near-optimal bit error rate (BER) performance.
