Abstract
En 中文
• Comprehensive assessment of wind and solar variability across 1000 real sites in North America and Europe. • A unified methodological framework is employed by using ten years of high-resolution meteorological data. • Wind generation exhibits substantially higher short-term volatility and a greater frequency of extreme ramp events. • Solar generation demonstrates regular diurnal cycles and larger seasonal amplitudes, particularly at higher latitudes.
