Abstract

• Develops a coupled model that integrates screw transverse deformation with thread mechanics to analyze PRSM load distribution. • Proposes a novel discrete integration slice method to quantify the previously neglected thread deflection caused by roller body compliance. • Provides new insight by revealing the critical dependence of load uniformity on nut position, a direct consequence of the coupled deformation effects. • Experimentally validates the comprehensive model with ¡9% deviation, confirming its high accuracy for predicting complex stress states.
