• Multiscale-reinforced high-strength MXene-based EMI shielding films are prepared. • The composite films exhibit a robust tensile strength of 270 MPa. • Such composite films with an ultrathin thickness of only 35 μm deliver an ultrahigh SE/t of 14,838 dB·cm−1. • Excellent electronic skin functionalities are demonstrated as well.
