在应用研究中，研究目标往往涉及敏感性质的话题。当研究目标具有此类特征时，在抽样中使用直接提问方法通常无法获得可靠结果。这是因为受访者可能会拒绝回答，或提供的回答可能显著偏离事实。为解决此问题，可采用随机应答技术。该方法可减少无应答偏差，从而获得更可靠的估计值。本文介绍了一种新颖的三模式随机应答方法，并通过模拟研究证明其优越性。此外，我们利用辅助信息开发了指数型估计量，以改进敏感变量均值的估计。我们证明，在特定条件下，这些估计量优于经典版本。作为实际应用，我们使用所提出的指数型估计量，对阿瓦兹沙希德·查姆兰大学学生的学术不端行为平均程度进行了估计优化。
