Abstract
En 中文
• A coupled flow–sediment model assessed shelterbelts in a sediment-laden flood. • Ecological shelterbelts raised near-levee water levels by only 3–5 cm. • Ecological shelterbelts reduced levee-toe velocity by up to 0.029 m/s. • Mean deposition thickness rose from 0.05 m to 0.17 m. • Sediment-promoting benefits diminished as shelterbelt width increased.
