In the work, based on a three-dimensional model of the lower limb taking into account the ligamentous apparatus and trabecular elements of the apices of the femur and tibia in the finite element package Ansys, a series of numerical biomechanical experiments were carried out. The effect of proximal osteotomy of the fibula on the stress-strain state of the meniscus of the knee joint was studied depending on the degree of varus deformity. The range of varus deformity of the knee joint was established, in which proximal osteotomy of the fibula effectively reduces the load on the inner part of the knee joint. It is shown that the muscular response of the peroneus longus muscle after proximal osteotomy of the fibula leads to an increase in stress in the lateral part of the knee joint and a decrease in the medial part.
