浓缩红细胞（PRBC）是不可缺少但高风险的治疗剂，其制备质量高，但输注安全性因可避免的错误而受损。医师的输血决策必须同时考虑高质量产品的固有风险特征和输注安全性。PRBC临床使用中的关键问题包括因流程或识别错误导致的制品混淆和溶血性输血反应、因物流瓶颈或误判导致的输注不足，以及因过度依赖血红蛋白浓度作为输注触发指标且缺乏指南遵循导致的过量输注。特别是PRBC过量使用的风险目前被低估。由于大部分不良事件与应用相关且因此具有潜在可预防性，技术防护措施、数字化、结构化流程和一致的患者血液管理是提高患者安全性的关键措施。
