Abstract
En 中文
Esmat Elhalaby's Parting gifts of empire is an ambitious study of literary, cultural and political exchanges between India and the Arab world, particularly Palestine, during the twilight of empire and the early days of decolonization. The book seeks to recover Afro-Asian and Indo-Arab intellectual networks going beyond metropolitan Europe.
