• This study incorporates SSI effects into the hybrid system named BIS-ECD-TTMDI. • The nonlinearities of both the BIS and ECD were incorporated in BIS-ECD-TTMDI. • Inclusion of SSI has a significant impact on the optimal stiffness and damping of the system. • BIS-ECD-TTMDI maintains exceptional performance when SSI are explicitly considered.
