Abstract
En 中文
• Widespread drug-resistant V. cholerae was isolated from retail and farm shrimp. • The blaVMB-1 gene is first reported in V. cholerae from food animals. • IncC plasmid carries and transfers blaVMB-1 to E. coli efficiently. • The convergence of resistance and virulence poses a direct threat to food safety.
