Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
Here we report a flexible and rechargeable aqueous Zn-iodine battery with an iodine/carbon cloth cathode. Combined experimental and computational studies suggest that the battery undergoes a reversible reaction of Zn + I-2 ZnI2 with suppressed I-3(-) formation by confining iodine species in porous carbon.
