• Design/implementation/simulation of a plug-in module for controller reconfiguration. • Evaluated on a rigorous/non-linear fluid catalytic cracking-fractionator benchmark. • Alternative sensor/actuator and controller configuration/interaction can be considered. • Minimally invasive, connected to the inputs-outputs of the nominal controller. • A stability/robustness analysis of the reconfigurable controller is included.
